(JUCI) JPL University Crowdsourcing Initiative

Developing a solar sail spacecraft to target a fuel free Mars flyby in collaboration with NASA experts (yes you get to talk to them too). The team leads design, simulation, and mission planning and engineers the sail structure, deployment system, and trajectory using Ansys STK, FEA, and CAD. The project supports NASA’s deep space exploration goals and trains students in next-generation spacecraft design and mission engineering.
